FSH in Patch Notes (2.x)
2.1:
– The following changes have been made to guildleves: Additional rewards have been added for handing in HQ items for fishing fieldcraft leves.
– The following changes have been made to guildleves: The EXP reward for completing certain fishing fieldcraft leves has been increased.
– The following changes have been made to guildleves: Bonus EXP awarded for handing in HQ items for fishing fieldcraft leves has been decreased.
– Fishing locations in the residential districts have been added to the fishing log.
– Fishing animations have been revised to better reflect the size of your catch.
– Fishing locations can now be selected via the map in the fishing log.
– Bug fix: An issue wherein players were only able to trade two of the provisioning item (fishing) for the “Grand Company Delivery Missions” even though it requires three.
– Bug fix: An issue wherein players were required to turn in a “Blue Octopus” as a level 21 fisher for the “Grand Company Delivery Missions (Provisioning)” even though it cannot be caught by a fisher at that level.
* The “Blue Octopus” has been moved to the level 25 provisioning missions.
– Bug fix: An issue wherein players would obtain two additional gear sets when unlocking the fisher class.
– Upon accessing gathering points at level 40 or above, Disciples of the Land will, on occasion, obtain a timeworn map.
– Timeworn Leather Map: Level 40 mature trees, lush vegetation patches, mineral deposits, rocky outcrops, and fishing holes.
– Timeworn Goatskin Map: Level 45 mature trees, lush vegetation patches, mineral deposits, rocky outcrops, and fishing holes.
– Timeworn Toadskin Map: Level 50 mature trees, lush vegetation patches, mineral deposits, rocky outcrops, and fishing holes (South Umbral Isles and Rathefrost only)
– Timeworn Boarskin Map: Level 50 mature trees, lush vegetation patches, mineral deposits, rocky outcrops, and fishing holes (Reaver Hide and the Tangle only)
– Timeworn Peisteskin Map: Level 50 mature trees, lush vegetation patches, mineral deposits, rocky outcrops, and fishing holes (Lake Tahtotl, Parata’s Peace, and the North Shards only).
* Timeworn maps cannot be found at unspoiled gathering points or guildleve gathering points.
* Timeworn map locations are not recorded in gathering and fishing logs.
* Upon obtaining a timeworn map, players will be unable to find another for 18 hours (Earth time).
* Timeworn maps can be traded and sold on the market board.
2.15:
– Confirmed bug: The client may crash by opening the fishing log using the shortcut key.
2.16:
– Master Fisher’s Ring: I Caught That III (catch 160 unique fish)
2.2:
– Provisioning and supply missions have received the following adjustments: Lesser quantities of fish will be requested for provisioning missions.
– Fishers can now reel in big fish from certain fishing locations.
– The ability to catch big fish depends on a players gathering rating.
* As of patch 2.2, big fish can be caught in level 1 to 15 fishing holes.
– A new fisher action has been added:
Cast Light
Acquired – Level 1
Lights up the tip of your fishing rod.
– Players can now use the /sit command after casting a line when fishing.
– The Beast of Brewer’s Beacon
– Go Big or Go Home I, II, III: 1, 16, 37 big fish
– Bug fix: An issue wherein the Fisher can obtain the Timeworn Leather/Goatskin/Toadskin/Boarskin/Peisteskin Maps even though their level does not fulfill the requirements.
Following are the correct required levels to obtain the timeworn maps:
Timeworn Leather Map: Level 36 or above
Timeworn Goatskin Map: Level 41 or above
Timeworn Toadskin/Boarskin/Peisteskin Map: Level 46 or above
– Bug fix: An issue wherein the Fisher may catch the timeworn map during the mooch.
2.25:
– Bug fix: An issue wherein the game client would crash when opening the Fishing Log.
2.28:
– The sound played when reeling in a fish will now change depending on the type of fishing hole.
– Bug fix: An issue wherein average item level was calculated lower than its actual value with a fisher’s primary tool equipped.
2.3:
– The area name has been added to the following fishing message: You cast your line.
Example: You cast your line into the waters of Bloodshore.
– A new action has been added for fisher.
Release
Acquired Level: Level 22
Unhook a fish (including all those of the same type subsequently caught at your current location) and release it back into the wild.
– New big fish have been added to fifty fishing spots ranging from level 20 to level 45.
– Certain previously unmoochable fish can now be used for mooching.

2.35:
– A Skywatcher NPC is now available in every major region.
– Bug fix: An issue with the Fisher class wherein the graphics of certain gear did not display properly when using the sit emote after using the skill Hook.
* A partial fix has been implemented for patch 2.35, with a complete fix scheduled for patch 2.38.
2.38:
– Bug fix: An issue wherein certain pieces of equipment displayed incorrectly when using the /sit emote while fishing.
*To resolve this issue, the seated fishing pose for Lalafell females has been altered.
2.4:
– Feast of Famine
– The following changes have been made to open world areas: Players can now board the Rhotano privateer, a large fishing vessel off the coast of Costa del Sol in Eastern La Noscea.
– New fish, including big fish, have been added to the 21 fishing holes available to fishers between levels 35 and 50.
– Fish that appear only in certain combinations of weather conditions have been added.
E.g. Breeds of fish that only appear in rainy storms that directly follow sunny spells.
– Fish that only appear based on your previous catches have been added.
E.g. Breeds of fish that only appear after five of their natural predator have been caught.
– Two new fishing holes have been added in Eastern La Noscea.
