Phyllinos Aetherial Reduction Study
Work documented in this spreadsheet.
Like Mayashell, this fish behaves much like a big fish. It has hard gathering and perception breakpoints and a significant escape rate.
Gathering: 3150
Perception: 2650
Escape Rate: 22.01%
Lowest Reported Glioaether: 110
Lowest Reported Bonus: 114
Information
- It appears that there is a 100% chance to get a Glioaether when the collectable is within the range in which it is possible to get a Bonus (114 - 117).
- There isn't a 100% chance that it will reduce into a Glioaether if its 110 - 113.
- Below 110, it will never reduce into a Glioaether.
- Prize Catch can be used to circumvent the perception requirement. Using it will always yield a Glioaether-eligible collectable regardless of your perception.
- Patience II will not yield a Glioaether-eligible collectable if you do not meet the perception breakpoint, Patience II will result in a Glioaether-eligible collectable.
- Perception above the minimum has not been found to have any benefit. When using Patience II while at or far above the minimum perception yields the same range of large-sized ones.
- Patience II will not yield a Glioaether-eligible collectable if you do not meet the perception breakpoint, Patience II will result in a Glioaether-eligible collectable.
- It appears to have a ~20% escape rate. Increasing gathering has not been found to decrease this chance.
About
- Reduction data is an aggregate of reports from members of the Fisherman's Horizon discord.
- Bonus chance is based on the amount of Bonuses in the data from the known range Bonus is possible.
- Escape rate data is my personal data at 3355 gathering.
- Bite rate data is my personal data for the number of total bites in the windows and the number of which were Phyllinos.
